Hicks finished off the post tour tour with a big pay off: encore of Forever Man, a frequent cover from his early career, a cover that rates right up there with the original, in my opinion. The advertised Little Memphis Blues Orchestra (nee Taylor Hicks Band) was minus their lead guitarist, Sam Gunderson, who was unfortunately unable to make the gig, but Josh Smith, lead guitar on the tour band, slid right on in.
Sad to say, I wasn’t there, but some of you were, so bring us your reviews.We do have a couple of early pictures in, taken, sent and posted during the concert itself. Can’t blame the photographer for using a phone camera, when they’ve got their mind on more pertinent media. It’s not all (or even mainly) about the visuals, afterall.

The man,the voice,the band the songs,another outstanding concert .It has always been my dream to see TH and LMBO perform together,here’s hoping that the future will provide that chance ! Kudos to the photographer who captured these shots,and thanks for posting them what !
it appears Josh and Taylor’s paths will cross more often than not. pleased to see that. here’s hoping Sam couldn’t be there because of a prior commitment.
What, I completely agree on Forever Man – a much better Clapton cover for him than Badge IMO.
I think this is the first time LMBO has taken on the new material from the “Taylor Hicks” album – intriguing.
Forever Man is one of my all time favorites..Clapton or Taylor. I hope someone got video of it and it surfaces.
I normally wouldn’t listen to a cell cert the day after, but I was interested in hearing the album songs. A little on the fast side, but a decent effort. Am anxious to see video.
Spoons, yes, Sam had another committment. Hopefully, we’ll get to see him with Hicks again sometime down the road.
Another wonderful show! Wish I could have heard it live, but so appreciate the audio and pictures we’ve been able to see so far and loved being part of the cell cert too. Thank you for posting.

I was in PR and was thrilled to see Forever Man live - bonus! It was great to finally see Taylor together with LMBO (sorry to miss Sam, but great to see Josh again). Taylor’s voice was strong and beautiful and the smiles all round were so much fun to see.
