I wonder if Hicks is still making time to sit in and jam like this with the big boys? In any case, the youtubular versions were enough to make me look out for this: set for a June 24 release, the 2006 Warren Haynes Xmas Jam DVD.

Wow - thanks! I did not know about the DVD either and I’m psyched - been listening to bits and pieces of this for quite a while and love it, especially I Shall Be Released. It will be nice to experience all of it.
Yeah, I’m looking forward to it. In fact, I’d be really happy to see him do more of this kind of thing. Like the Broadway gig, it’s a cameo, and like that, it puts him in front of new audience. But it’s way more in line with what I want to listen to. Maybe he’ll go that route again.
But mainly I’m glad I posted to get a chance to experience this freaky new “possibly related posts” thing. The logic is suspiciously like some people I know, but alas, it’s just ‘bots.
