He was the first comedian whose name I knew, because my Mom would stop everything when he came on. Nobody dug in like he did. Most of his stuff can’t be embedded, but it’s worth digging back through again yourself. RIP.

This was my first hearing of George Carlin’s passing. Your post makes a nice tribute to him. He was one of the most intelligent comedians, and some of my love of words (clean ones) came from him.
