mccain’s musical woes
Newsweek: McCain’s Musical Woes Continues
ETA: Thanks, eastonwest, for filling in a few of the many gaping gaps (what else would gaps do?) in my musical knowledge. Someone should get John and Alice together on this. Maybe they can discuss it over golf.

Alice Cooper has always been a strong, unwavering Republican. So, If John McCain wants a rock song, I suspect that Alice would gladly lend him one. They even hail from the same state! Of course, the obvious choice would be “Elected”.
My personal Cooper favorites: “No More Mr. Nice Guy” and “Welcome To My Nightmare”.
I remember John Mellencamp would not allow McCain to use “Our Country” (re: chevy commercials) for his campaign rallies.
someone finally threw him a bone.

although honestly, I have to ask, “who?”
I’m not a John Rich fan… he seems arrogant and all about him self. Maybe he is for John McCain but I would see this as trying to get more attention for himself… notice the plug on his website for his new single coming out.
i hardly know who john rich is. but objectively speaking, well, it is *his* website, of course he’s going to announce his new, upcoming projects. where else do you suggest he host his mccain song other than his website?
